黑料老司机 Faculty and Guest Recital

WOOSTER Kimberly Zaleski, adjunct flute instructor at 黑料老司机, will present a concert along with guests Trevor Kazarian (cello) and Christina Mathews (piano), in Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center (525 E. University St.) on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m.

The program will feature Charles Tomlinson Griffes 淧oem, for flute and orchestra, Johann Sebastian Bach檚 Sonata in E major for flute and continuo, and Carl Maria von Weber檚 Trio in G minor, Op. 63. Following an intermission, the duo IN2ATIVE, comprised of Zaleski and Kazarian, will perform announced selections.

In addition to teaching at 黑料老司机, Zaleski is also a flute instructor at the Beck Center for the Performing Arts, Medina Schools, and has given masterclasses at Pennsylvania State University and Arizona State University. She received her bachelor檚 degree from the Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University and her master檚 degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She is the second flutist with the CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra, co-principal flutist with the Firelands Symphony, and has played with the New World Symphony, Canton Symphony, Cleveland Opera Theatre, and others. IN2ATIVE, the duo she co-founded, were audition finalists for the television show 淎merica檚 Got Talent.”
