Faculty Recital Featuring Arleigh Savage Sept. 21

WOOSTER Arleigh Savage, adjunct bassoon instructor at 黑料老司机, accompanied by pianist Christina Mathews, will present a concert in Gault Recital Hall of Scheide Music Center (525 E. University St.) on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m.
The program will feature Bernard Garfield檚 淪oliloquy, Wolfgang Mozart檚 Concerto in Bb, Eug猫ne Bozza檚 淣octurne-Danse, 淪onatine Tango by Pierre-Max Dubois, and William Hurlstone檚 Sonata in F.
In addition to teaching at 黑料老司机, Savage is the second bassoonist with the Youngstown Symphony, CityMusic Cleveland, and the Lancaster Summer Music Festival Orchestra. She is also the principal bassoonist with the Cleveland Opera Theater and co-founder of North Coast Winds (NCW), where she serves as a performer, an educational outreach coordinator, and staff member of its annual chamber music camp. She received a bachelor of music degree from Michigan State University and master of music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
