������˾�� partners with Case Western Reserve University�s Weatherhead School of Management to expand access to master�s programs

WOOSTER, Ohio�A new partnership between ������˾�� and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) will offer early admission and scholarships to ������˾�� students seeking to earn master�s degrees at CWRU�s Weatherhead School of Management.

Through the agreement, ������˾�� students accepted into any of four Weatherhead School master�s degree programs will receive scholarships with at least a $10,000 value and the potential to receive additional merit aid. Graduates of all four programs are experiencing a highly successful rate for job placement, according to the school�s admissions department.

The four Weatherhead School STEM degree programs included in ������˾���s early admission program are:

• : A three-semester program that includes an internship, students study cutting-edge analytics using real-world data from CWRU industry partners to develop skills extracting insights from analytics for business problem-solving.
• : Depending on whether students pursue add-on certificates in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Business Analytics, this program can be completed in two or three semesters. Graduates make an impact in national and international operations and supply chain management in areas including manufacturing and service industries.
• : This program can be completed in two semesters and includes three specialized, STEM-eligible tracks: Financial Big Data Analytics, Corporate Financial Analytics, and Risk Management Analytics. Internships are also available.
• : This program can be completed in two or three semesters, either full-time or part-time, and includes an advanced curriculum in auditing, taxation, technology, and information systems.

The program is available to ������˾�� students from all majors who complete the required courses in business economics, computer science, mathematics, economics, statistical and data sciences or other courses specific to the master�s program. Students in the entrepreneurship pathway will find this a natural fit with their interests. Applications for all four master�s degree programs are being accepted now, with application fees waived for ������˾�� students.

�������˾�� is excited to offer this opportunity that gives advantages to students interested in the Weatherhead School of Management Masters programs,� said Lisa Perfetti, provost of ������˾��. �With internships that complement a wide range of relevant courses, these four degree programs provide a path for students that will set them up for successful careers in national and international business, and some of the degrees can be completed in a single year. This relationship with Weatherhead allows our students, including those majoring in the humanities, to build on the strong liberal arts foundation they received at ������˾��, a foundation in critical thinking, research skills, and global and intercultural perspectives, all important for working in business-related careers today.�

Deshaun Jones �21, a graduate of ������˾���s business economics program and now a student in Weatherhead School�s Master of Accountancy program transitioned smoothly to the environment at CWRU. He said he appreciates the diversity of students from other countries and backgrounds on campus as well as the University Circle location near downtown Cleveland amid multiple cultural and sporting events. His time at ������˾��, especially working on his Independent Study, senior research project, helped prepare him for graduate school.

�Meeting weekly with my advisor and readers challenged me to reach the level of efficiency that prepared me with the confidence to crush any obstacles or problems in my way,� said Jones. �With the liberal arts style of education at ������˾��, being able to understand a wide range of topics in my business economics major has helped me to look at specific fields of accounting in a bigger picture way. That style of thinking has greatly benefitted me at CWRU, and I’m so grateful for my time at ������˾��.�

To be eligible for early decision acceptance into these Weatherhead School programs, ������˾�� students must have earned a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher by the end of the equivalent of their junior year (75% of credits toward bachelor�s degree earned) and completed CWRU-equivalent undergraduate courses at ������˾�� with at least a 3.0 earned in each course required by Weatherhead School for the particular program in which the student seeks admission. Students who graduate from ������˾�� and enroll in a program will be granted a minimum $10,000 scholarship toward tuition fees for the program with the potential to receive an additional merit-based scholarship award.
