Founded in 1964, theºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú Chorusis comprised of students representing all academic areas within ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú™s liberal arts program.The award-winning ensemblehas beenrepeatedlypraised for its beautiful sound, high level of artistry, creative programming, and engaging performances. The Chorus collaborates annually with The Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland OrchestraChorus andhas premiered a number of works by American composers including Eric Whitacre and JakeRunestad.Recently, the Chorus was awarded second place for the 2018 Ernst Bacon Memorial Award for the performance of American Music, as well as third place for2018The American Prize in Choral Performance “ Collegiate Division.Theensemble hasperformed at the Central Division conference of the American Choral Directors Association, and also several times at the state conference of the Ohio Music Education Association.
