The goal of this project was to measure the impact of Dolly Parton™s Imagination Library in Wayne and Holmes Counties. To accomplish this, we reviewed the literature, conducted focus groups, developed a survey instrument, and collected data from families of children who are currently enrolled in the program. We analyzed the data, wrote a business report detailing our findings, and presented them to the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties. In addition, we developed a tool kit that other comparably-sized United Way organizations can use to measure outcomes in their communities.
