African Students UnionOur organizationseeksto create a community for African students, both international and domestic, and all other students connected to and interested in Africa and the African diaspora along with its diverse cultures. We strive to create a supportive environment that encourages the growth and success of African students academically and personally.

The organization holds weekly meetings every Friday at 8 pm where prevalent issues concerning Africa and its people are discussed. We also create spaces for constructive conversations that help us explore thevarious waysour identification with Africa is perceived or shows up when we navigate 黑料老司机 and the world.

We are dedicated to continuously educating the greater 黑料老司机 community about our cultures byparticipatingin the college檚 Culture Show, celebrating African cuisine through the African Banquet, and organizing UBUNTU which is our annual African Culture Show to name a few. UBUNTU features a night of fashion, poetry, music, and dance thatshowcasesthe diversity and pride of the continent of Africa. We also have movie screenings, barbecues, game nights, and panel discussions geared to catalyze our growth as a community and as individuals.

As a diverse organization that has evolved into a family, we enjoy having meals together, laughing together and sharing good times, and most importantly learning and embracing our various cultures and identities.
